Adwoa Adu-Sarkodie

Adwoa Adu-Sarkodie holds Master’s Degree in Community Economic Development, (MSc) from New Hampshire College, USA.  She has an International Employee Assistance Program Certificate from the University of Maryland and a first degree in Liberal Arts from University of Iowa, USA.

Her work experience in Community development spans from UNDP (United Nations Development Program) PLAN International and United Way, among others.  As a Facilitator, she utilizes local human and material resources to enhance community development within groups.

She works as a Program Director of Hopeful Way Foundation, an NGO that supports drug rehabilitation centers through training and dissemination of materials on addiction treatment, recovery and re-integration programs. She has been the Convener of (RGC) Ghana Recovery Consortium for the past 6 years.  The RGC consists of organizations that work on Drug treatment facilities and recovery related activities.
